Client Side Requirements

This document outlines the technical and non-technical requirements for the optimal usage of bliro.

Web Application Requirements

Supported Browsers:

Our web app is compatible with all major web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, provided they are updated to their latest versions.

Internet Connection:

Our SAAS system is designed to be efficient and can deliver a good user experience with a low-level internet connectivity of at least 128 kb/s.

JavaScript and Cookies:

Please ensure that JavaScript and cookies are enabled in your browser for optimal functioning.

Our system utilizes cookies related to Auth0, Stripe, Intercom for guaranteeing the provision of our services.

Security:

Our system requires the user's browser to support TLS 1.2 or higher to ensure secure communication.

Desktop Application Requirements

Operating System:

Our desktop app supports Windows (version 8 and above) and macOS (version 13.0 and above).

Hardware Requirements:

We recommend having at least 4GB of RAM, 500MB of disk space, and a 2-core intel i5 processor or higher for smooth operation.

Network:

A stable internet connection of at least 128 kb/s is required, however, specific functionalities may not require an active connection.

Firewall:

To ensure the Bliro Desktop App functions properly, it needs to communicate with Bliro Web Servers. Please whitelist the following URLs and ensure they are not blocked by company firewalls:

SSL Interception:

SSL interception systems can cause significant interruptions to Bliro services. To prevent this, we recommend whitelisting the following URLs from SSL interception systems:

Proxy Support:

Bliro supports proxy governed networks. Proxies are detected and connected to automatically. In case of proxies with authentication, Bliro supports various frameworks e.g. Kerberos.

Updates and Maintenance:

  1. Managed By Customer: Business customers that roll out Bliro via an unified endpoint management service like Microsoft Intune receive an email notification when a new Bliro Desktop application is available. The email contains download links to the installer files as well as additional information about the update. The customer is responsible for supplying its user base with new Bliro versions.

  2. Managed by Bliro: Customers that do not use an unified endpoint management service can rely on Bliro to ship new applications to the user base automatically as soon as they are available. Bliro is responsible for supplying the customer’s users with new Bliro versions.

iOS App Requirements

Operating System:

The Bliro iOS app supports iOS version 15.0 and above. For optimal performance, we

recommend using the latest available iOS version supported by your device.

Device Compatibility:

The app is compatible with all modern iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 or later. Devices should have at least 2GB of RAM and 200MB of available storage.

Network:

A stable internet connection of at least 128 kb/s is required for real-time transcription and synchronization with Bliro’s cloud services. Some features (e.g. local note viewing) may function offline with limited capability.

Firewall:

To ensure proper communication with Bliro’s servers, please whitelist the following URLs and ensure they are not blocked by company firewalls:

SSL Interception:

SSL interception systems can disrupt Bliro services. We recommend excluding the URLs listed above from SSL interception.

Updates and Maintenance:

The Bliro iOS app is distributed via the Apple App Store. Users receive update notifications automatically through the App Store. Enterprise customers may optionally use Apple Business Manager (ABM) or Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for managed deployment and version control.

Permissions:

The app requires user consent to access:

  • Microphone (for real-time transcription)

  • Notifications (for meeting reminders and updates)

  • Network connectivity (for sync and authentication)

General Requirements

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Via Email: Our support team can be reached at support.bliro.io for all types of assistance

  • Via Chat: Users can directly chat with the support team via a Chat on the web application.

  • Via Dedicated Support Agent: Enterprise customers get assistance by a dedicated support agent.

Training:

Online onboarding sessions are provided to new users for easy adaptation to all clients of our SAAS system.

Terms and Conditions:

Users must agree to the terms and conditions before using the app.

Privacy Policy:

Users must read and understand the privacy policy before using the app.

User Account:

Users need to create an account to use the app. Guest usage is not permitted.

Subscription:

Subscription services are available for additional features. Details on pricing and benefits can be found in the app or on our website.
