Transcription Only Picking up on Meeting Owner, not Participants

If Bliro is only transcribing your voice and not the other people on the call, this is almost always caused by missing System Audio permissions.

Why this happens

Bliro needs access to two audio sources to transcribe a meeting correctly:

  • Microphone audio (your voice)

  • System audio (the other participants’ voices coming from your computer)

If Bliro only has access to your microphone, it can only hear you.

How to fix it (macOS)

You need to enable System Audio Recording permissions for Bliro.

  1. Open System Settings

  2. Go to Privacy & Security

  3. Scroll down to Screen & System Audio Recording

  4. Select System Audio Recording Only

  5. Make sure Bliro is enabled (toggled ON)

After that, restart Bliro and try again.

Still not working?

If Bliro still only captures your voice after enabling permissions:

  • Quit and reopen Bliro

  • Restart the meeting app (Zoom / Google Meet / Teams)

  • Restart your Mac

If the issue persists, contact support and include:

  • Your macOS version

  • The meeting app you’re using
