Bliro transcribes both microphone and system audio streams automatically. Therefore no configuration is needed from your side as the correct audio capture is set as default.

Seamless Audio Experience with Bliro

Bliro automatically identifies and selects the correct speaker device, capturing audio directly from all active speaker endpoints and combining them into a single, high-quality track.

What This Means for You

  • Seamless Experience: Audio is always accessed, even if users switch devices during a call.

  • Zero Setup: No dropdowns, no manual configuration, and no confusion.

  • Reliable Audio Pipeline: Every meeting is transcribed without interruptions, ensuring consistent, dependable performance.

With this approach, there’s no need to match your audio setup to the system configuration.

On macOS, the process is fully guided by the operating system - both microphone and system audio settings are automatically linked and ready to use.

On Windows, users retain the flexibility to select and adjust their preferred microphone as needed.

Bliro ensures that recording your meetings is effortless, stable, and reliable - every time.

InCall Settings

When you start a call, you’ll see visual feedback displayed through the Headphones icon. The green visualization inside of the microphone shows the audio amplitude levels in real time.

How It Works

  • Start a call: Once the call begins, the InCall screen will automatically display the audio level indicators.

  • Monitor audio levels: During the call, you can observe the intensity of the sound being transmitted. The amplitude reflects both your microphone input and, if enabled, the system audio being shared.

This helps you ensure your audio is being properly captured and transmitted throughout the call.

  • Additionally once the in call audio settings are expanded, the user will find a more comprehensive overview of the audio input and a call to action to be able to change the audio settings.

    • On MacOS, clicking on Sound Settings will redirect the user to the System Preferences to adjust any needed audio setup.

On Windows, the audio settings are inline, which allows the user to change their desired microphone input.

You encounter errors regarding your audio or your transcript is incomplete?

Here is what to check:

  1. Click on the Bliro Logo in your menu bar. The desktop app will then open.

  2. Now go to the settings and navigate to audio. The system audio transcription should be turned on.

Try again and see if it works!
