Connect Your Calendar for Smarter Reminders

You can connect your calendar to Bliro to receive reminders for your upcoming meetings.

When you choose to connect your calendar, Bliro can automatically remind you at the right time for your scheduled events, so you never miss an important meeting.

Here’s how to enable calendar reminders:

  1. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of Bliro.

  2. On the Settings page select Reminders.

  3. On the Reminders page, find the option Enable Calendar Reminders and follow the steps to connect your calendar (if you haven’t already connected your calendar before).

Once connected, Bliro will display your upcoming meetings and send you timely reminders based on your preferences.

  • To allow the integration for the calendar events, please follow the Connect Calendar button which will redirect you straight to the Web App over your preferred browser. There you will find all the integrations that are currently supported by Bliro for our customers. You need to enable at least one calendar connection for this feature to work.

  • Once this is done and you have a valid connection, you will see the Connect button change to Settings. This signifies a successful connection and you can move back to Bliro to continue your personalization. You may need to restart Bliro Desktop App to make sure that the new settings are retrieved.

  • After a successful integration, you now see the option to personalize your Calendar Reminders. This can be done through ticking the Enable Calendar Reminders and choosing one of the proposed reminders configurations.

    • Always: Bliro will notify you upon every calendar event (also calendar-blockers)

    • On invited participants: Bliro will notify you only if there are other participants in the call (so calendar-bllockers are not reminded)

    • On external participants: Bliro will notify you only if there are other participants in the call and they do not belong to your current organization

  • Once an option is selected, the personalization is now completed (for default action scroll down)

Set Up Meeting Reminders

You can personalize how Bliro reminds you about upcoming meetings.

To change these settings, make sure you’re logged in and the Bliro application is running. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of Bliro.

  2. On the Settings page select Reminders.

  3. On the Reminders page, find the option Enable Meeting Reminders. Turn it on if you want to be reminded to use Bliro upon joining an online meeting or VoIP call.

Once enabled, Bliro will send you timely reminders on joining a meeting, helping you stay on schedule.

  • To get notified about meeting tools, make sure to tick this check mark next to Enable Meeting Reminders and click Save.

  • Now Bliro is in charge of delivering reminders for all the supported meeting tools.

  • In order to opt out of receiving reminders for a specific meeting tool while keeping the rest, you can use the "Don't notify me for" to go through the list of supported meeting tools and choose any number of them.

  • With that, you have successfully opted out of the selected meeting tools and will not be receiving reminders correspondingly.

Personalize Your Default Reminder Actions

Bliro gives you full control over what happens when you click on a reminder. With the centralized Reminders settings, you can choose which actions Bliro should perform - making your reminders as personal and efficient as possible.

To set up your default reminder actions:

  1. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of Bliro.

  2. On the Settings page select Reminders.

  3. On the Reminders page, make sure at least one reminder option is enabled.

  4. Once enabled, you can customize the actions that Bliro performs when you click on a reminder.

This allows you to decide exactly how Bliro behaves, ensuring your reminders fit seamlessly into your workflow.

  • Bliro provides two options for the call to action:

    • Start Bliro: Bliro starts a meeting along with the transcription once the action call is performed.

    • Open Bliro: Bliro simply shows the application window to allow you to modify your settings (e.g. language/template) before starting the session.
