As an organization admin, you can see how much your team uses Bliro and manage usage limits for your organization. Everything is on one page: Settings → Usage. This article explains what you see there and how to set limits yourself.
Note: Only organization admins can see the organization's usage and change limits. Members can see their own usage on their personal usage page, but they can't change any limits.
Where to find the usage page
Open app.bliro.io/orgs/settings/usage directly, or navigate there:
Open Bliro in your browser and go to Settings.
Under Organization settings, click Usage.
The page Usage and spend limits shows your organization's usage for each Bliro service:
Transcription: The minutes your team transcribed with Bliro this month, for example meetings and calls.
Phone agent: The minutes your team used with the phone assistants Vicky & Tim beyond what your plan includes, and your current limit.
Below the cards, Usage by member shows the usage of every member. Switch between the Transcription and Phone agent tabs, and use the search field to find a specific person.
All usage resets on the 1st of every month. You can see the next reset date on the Phone agent card.
Transcription
The Transcription card shows how many minutes your whole team transcribed this month. Your current limit is shown next to it.
In Usage by member, open the Transcription tab to see how many minutes each member transcribed this month. This helps you see who uses Bliro the most and where adoption in your team can grow.
To change your transcription minutes, click Upgrade on the Transcription card and send our support team a short message with what you need.
Phone agent
How phone agent minutes work
The phone agent uses two kinds of minutes:
Included minutes: Every member of your organization gets 30 phone agent minutes per month as part of the plan.
Extra minutes: Any minutes a member uses after their 30 included minutes.
By default, extra minutes are turned off. Each member can use their 30 included minutes, and then the phone agent stops for them until the 1st of the next month. To let your team keep calling, turn on extra minutes as described below.
Set the limit for your organization
This limit is the total number of extra minutes your whole organization can use per month. It's shared by all members.
On the Phone agent card, click Edit limit.
Choose one option:
Unlimited: Your team can use as many extra minutes as they need.
Set limit: Enter the maximum number of extra minutes per month for the whole organization.
Click Set spend limit.
When your organization reaches its limit, the phone agent pauses until the 1st of the next month for every member who has used up their included minutes. Members who still have included minutes left can keep calling. This way you never pay for more extra minutes than you allowed.
If you set a limit, all admins get an email when your organization reaches 80% and 100% of it.
Set a limit for a single member
You don't have to set a limit for every member. As long as a member has no custom limit, they can use extra minutes freely, and only the organization limit applies to them.
Use a personal limit when you want to cap the extra minutes of a specific person:
In Usage by member, open the Phone agent tab.
Find the member and click the pencil icon in their row.
Choose Unlimited or Set limit and enter the extra minutes per month for this member.
Click Save changes.
To remove a member's custom limit, open the same dialog and click Revert to default. The Custom limit column shows "-" for members without a custom limit, and Extra this month shows the extra minutes each member used this month.
Note: You can only set a member's limit after you turned on extra minutes for your organization in Step 1. Until then, the pencil icon is disabled.
How the two limits work together
Once a member has used their 30 included minutes, Bliro checks two things before every new call:
Does the organization have extra minutes left? If not, the call is blocked, even if the member's personal limit isn't reached yet.
Does the member have a personal limit, and is it used up? If yes, the call is blocked for this member, even if the organization still has minutes left.
Organization limit | Member's personal limit | What happens after the 30 included minutes |
Not set (default) | Any | Phone agent stops |
Unlimited | None (default) | Member can keep calling |
Unlimited | e.g. 60 min | Member can use 60 extra minutes, then stops |
e.g. 500 min | None (default) | Member can keep calling until the organization has used 500 extra minutes in total |
e.g. 500 min | e.g. 60 min | Member stops after 60 extra minutes, or earlier if the organization reaches 500 |
In short: To let your team call beyond 30 minutes, turning on the organization limit (Unlimited or a number) is enough. Personal limits only make a single member's limit stricter.
Good to know
Calls in progress aren't cut off. The limit is checked when a new call starts. A call that is already running continues even if the limit is reached during the call.
The 30 included minutes per member can't be changed in the settings. If you need more included minutes or a different plan, contact our support team via the chat.
What your members see
Members find their own usage at app.bliro.io/settings/usage (Settings → Usage in the personal settings, not the organization settings):
Phone agent: How many of their 30 included minutes they used and when the minutes reset. When their included minutes are used up and extra minutes are allowed, they see "Included minutes used up. Now using extra minutes." When they reach a limit, they see "Limit reached. Ask your organization admin for more minutes." If they start a call anyway, the phone agent tells them that the usage limit is reached and ends the call.
Transcription: How many minutes they transcribed this month.
