Who has access to the audio data?

Written by Maurice Schweitzer

During Live Transcription and Personal Assistant Interactions

No one has access to the audio data since it is not recorded in the first place. Bliro only uses your audio data to transcribe in real-time and discards the data immediately. Bliro's transcription and summary requires no human intervention.

During Voice Memo Recording

No one has access to the audio data since it is temporarily stored on the user's device until processing is completed by Bliro's transcription provider. The audio is only temporarily processed on Bliro's and our transcription provider's servers and cannot be accessed by anyone.

For VoiceID

To use Bliro's optional VoiceID feature, audio is recorded from the user's web browser and stored on Bliro's server. This is necessary to ensure that users don't need to re-enroll after server or model updates. This recording is encrypted-at-rest, but is accessible to highly-privileged Bliro employees for the purposes of live site remediation and privacy review. This recording is deleted when the user re-enrolls with a new recording or when the user deletes their VoiceID. Bliro is compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and EU AI Act, ensuring that all data stored on our servers is protected and fully within the user's control.

You can find more information about Bliro's privacy regulations in our trust center.
