Does bliro save audio files?

Written by Maurice Schweitzer

During Live Transcription and Personal Assistant Interactions

No, Bliro does not save any audio files, neither on the server side, nor locally, on the user side. The audio is streamed in real time and is not buffered locally on the user's side. The audio track is only used for a matter of seconds in this case and discarded continually as soon as the words are transcribed.

During Voice Memo Recording

Bliro records the voice memo directly on the user's device. Once complete, the recording is sent to Bliro's transcription provider for processing and deleted from the device once successful. The recorded in never saved on Bliro's or our transcription provider's servers.

For VoiceID

To use Bliro's optional VoiceID feature, audio is recorded from the user's web browser and stored on Bliro's server. This is necessary to ensure that users don't need to re-enroll after server or model updates. This recording is deleted when the user re-enrolls with a new recording or when the user deletes their VoiceID.

You can find more information about Bliro's privacy regulations in our trust center.
